Tanzania’s Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs)

Tanzania, the sixth most populated country in Africa, is home to over 63.5 million people. Among them, an estimated 3.2 million are orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs) — one of the highest ratios in the world (source: U.S. Embassy in Tanzania). Our mission is to provide these children with safe housing, food, clothing, healthcare, education, and a loving family. Above all, we share the hope of the Gospel, ensuring that every child knows they are deeply loved and never alone.

Children’s Homes

Our Children’s Homes provide a loving, stable foundation for the children in our care. Each home is fully equipped with a kitchen, bathrooms, and multiple bedrooms, offering a safe and comfortable environment for up to 12 children. Our ministry “adopts” orphans identified by partnering social workers, welcoming them into a familial environment where they receive not only shelter, but also love, guidance, and support. There is no age limit, each child has a home for as long as they need it. When they come of age, they may take on responsibilities to help maintain the household or choose to go to university or trade school.

Future Pastors

Spreading the Gospel and making disciples of all nations is at the heart of our mission. One of the most effective ways to do this is by equipping young men who possess a calling for ministry to become wise and biblically grounded pastors. Beginning in their early twenties, these men have the opportunity to undergo two years of dedicated studying in a Bible College program. Upon graduation, they are ordained and sent out to lead churches across the country. We are committed to providing financial support for their education, empowering them to share God’s Word and shepherd their communities.

Water Supply

Access to clean water is essential for life and sustainable farming, yet many communities in Tanzania rely solely on rainfall. We fund the construction of village wells that provide safe drinking water, improve sanitation, and support agriculture. Without local wells, children often walk long distances to fetch water for their families. By building these wells, we give them more time to attend school and safely enjoy their childhood. Each well includes a 10,000-liter holding tank with a three-horsepower pump, ensuring a reliable water source for the community.

Cassava, Corn, and Sunflower Cultivation

Cassava, a starchy root vegetable, is easy to grow and is a vital food source in developing countries. In addition to cassava, we cultivate corn and sunflowers to produce flour and other food products for local consumption and sale. Our ministry does not profit from this agriculture. Instead, the proceeds from these sales are reinvested into purchasing more land and supporting our Tanzanian staff. Our goal is to create enough job opportunities to strengthen the local economy.
